Dana Woodmansey, Director Transferred Programmes

Dana Woodmansey joined Department for Education in September 2004 on secondment from local government and joined as a permanent member of staff in October 2007. Dana has approximately 14 years experience of working in local government, in procurement and with schools and early years capital and revenue programmes.

Previously Dana worked in the retail sector, primarily as a buyer.

When Dana joined the Department in 2004 it was as the Building Schools for the Future Manager within Schools Capital - being responsible for the strategic management of the programme within the Department and as key relationship manager with Partnerships for Schools. In April 2009, on departure of previous Deputy Director, Dana was asked to take up temporary role of Deputy Director of Schools Capital - which she has been fulfilling since then.
