Wave 1: First schools opening January 2009

Sheffield's Wave 1 project is refurbishing and rebuilding nine mainstream secondary schools and five secondary schools for students with special educational needs. Newfield and Silverdale are due to open in January 2009.
Sheffield also has a repeat project allocated to Wave 4 of BSF, in which 12 schools will be refurbished or rebuilt, and a further 10 schools will receive ICT investment but no construction work.
