Wave 1: First schools opened September 2008
Contracts signed for second phase of work December 2007

Lancashire's Wave 1 BSF project was one of the first to reach financial close, in December 2006.

Schools opened:

• Burnley Campus (Thomas Whitham Sixth Form), Pendle Vale Campus and Shuttleworth College opened in September 2008.
