Wave 2: Financial Close announced July 2008

Islington’s Wave 2 programme was the first BSF project to be procured under the new EU procurement legislation known as Competitive Dialogue.
The selected bidder Transform Schools, the Balfour Beatty-led consortium, was announced in June 2007 and Financial Close was achieved in July 2008. The consortium partners are Balfour Beatty Capital, Building Design Partnership and Haden Building Management, and the ICT partner is RM.
Eight schools in the borough will be rebuilt or refurbished in three phases of work. Two further phases of work will complete the borough’s estate transformation under BSF
