Wave 1: Strategic Partnering Organisation appointed, November 2006;
next stage Financial Close

Greenwich was one of the first local authorities to enter the BSF programme, as a pathfinder in Wave 1.

Preferred bidder, VT Group Plc, was announced in May 2006, and in November 2006 VT Education & Skills were appointed as the Strategic Partnering Organisation.

There are five schools in Wave 1 (Crown Woods, Eltham Hill, John Roan, Plumstead Manor, Thomas Tallis).
