Partnerships for Schools publishes findings of "lessons learned" research

30 March 2007

As announced by Tim Byles at the recent annual conference, Partnerships for Schools today published the findings of research into the main lessons learned from the early days of Buildings Schools for the Future.

Carried out earlier in the year by independent research company, the Opinion Research Business, the quantitative research sought views and opinions from local authorities and private sector partners involved in the pathfinders and Waves 1 - 3 of BSF. The research identified a broad consensus of opinion amongst local authorities and private sector providers about the most important lessons learned, including the need for sufficient resourcing and corporate buy-in within the local authority.
