DfES & PfS conference, Designs for Learning

A joint DfES/PfS conference, Designs for Learning: delivering transformational design in school buildings, held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London, brought together designers, architects, contractors, local authorities and headteachers.
The event also saw the launch of the Design Quality Indicator (DQI) for Schools, which was developed by the DfES in conjunction with the Construction Industry Council (CIC), and will be used in BSF to ensure that final design outcomes match the original education vision.
