Birmingham's Wave 2 project that is the largest urban BSF project in the country. Investment in over 70 schools will be made through the Birmingham LEP, including the council's programme of Academies, over six phases. The first schools are scheduled to open in 2010.
Birmingham is also in Wave 5 of BSF.
