The PE & Sport Adviser team at PfS, who are jointly funded by Youth Sport Trust and Sport England, will be hosting a BSF School Sports Facilities Clinic at LIW 2008, offering advice sessions on helping schools and local authorities to develop dual-use sports facilities and activity programmes, and how to deliver public benefit and widen community access to sport and leisure facilities in schools.
To book a FREE appointment with a member of the PE & Sport Adviser team, contact Collette.Caffrey@partnershipsforschools.org.uk with your preferred date and time of appointment.
New for 2008, the National Sports Conference education programme takes place over the three days of SDW 2008, and features a presentation from Stuart Lindeman of Partnerships for Schools, on Wednesday 24 September. Stuart's presentation will be entitled Operating Schools for the Future of Community Use.
Also on Wednesday 24 September, Mike Coleman, Regional Operation Director, will be giving a breakfast briefing on procurement, and offering advice to companies interested in supplying products and services to BSF projects.
